Nichole is the youngest of four daughters to her parents. She has three elder sisters; Lori, Lee, and Natalie. Appleton met Robbie Williams while filming Top of the Pops in 1997. Soon a relationship began, and they were afterwards engaged. An autobiography that she co-authored with her sister Natalie Appleton revealed that she aborted Williams’ baby after pressure from her associated record company.

In 2000, Appleton again dwelled into a relationship with Liam Gallagher, the frontman of the group Oasis. Then she gave birth to their son, Gene Gallagher, on July 2, 2001. Interestingly, Gallagher recorded and composed the song “Songbird” as a token of his love for Nichole Appleton. The couple married each other at Marylebone Town Hall in London in 2008.
