Kevin James Baker passed away peacefully at Islands Hospice Maui on 10.1.2023. Kevin served as a U.S. Army Medic from 1972-1978. He continued that spirit of service his entire life in Funeral Service. In his last 20 years, Kevin loved and served the Island of Maui as Chief Embalmer and Service Director with Ballard Funeral Home. He will be remembered for the immeasurable comfort his work brought to those facing the loss of loved ones. Kevin's legacy will be that of excellence and dignity for those who passed and compassion for those who remain.

Kevin is survived by his siblings, Kathleen Johnston (Enta, OH), Brian Baker (Lafayette, IN), Patrice Winans (Loveland, CO), Douglas Baker (Lafayette, IN), and David Baker (Savannah, GA) Along with numerous nieces and nephews.
