Jeffrey Dean Morgan is an American actor know for such films as Watchmen, and The Losers. His television credits include Grey’s Anatomy, The Good Wife, and The Walking Dead. Morgan was born to parents Sandy and Richard on April 22, 1966 in Seattle, Washington. He attended Lake Washington High School followed by Skaggit Valley College. Morgan was a competitive basketball player and captain of his high school varsity team. He gave up college basketball due to injury.

CAREER
Morgan made his feature film debut in the 1991 crime-thriller, Uncaged. His television debut was a 1995 episode of the ABC drama series, Extreme. Morgan was cast as “Dr. Edward Marcase” in the series, The burning Zone (1996-97). He followed up with appearances in The Handler (2004), Weeds (2005), and “John Winchester” in Supernatural (2005-07). In 2009, Morgan starred as Edward Blake aka “The Comedian” in the superhero film, Watchmen. He co-starred alongside Columbus Short and Zoe Saldana in The Losers (2010). Other notable films include The Possession (2012) with Natasha Calis, Solace (2015) with Anthony Hopkins and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016) with Ben Affleck.

Morgan is probably best know for his role as “Denny Duquette”, a heart transplant patient in the series, Grey’s Anatomy. He appeared in 23 episodes from 2006 to 2009. He also played the character “Ike Evans” in Magic City, “JD Richter” in Extant, and “Jason Crouse” in The Good Wife. Morgan currently plays the role of “Negan” in the AMC horror-drama series, The Walking Dead. The show also stars Andrew Lincoln, Jon Bernthal, and Sarah Wayne Callies.
