Soulja Boy is an American rapper, music producer, and founder of Stacks on Deck Entertainment. His discography consists of 3 studio albums, 35+ mixtapes, and several music videos. He’s one of the main cast members of the VH1 reality series Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood. Soulja Boy was born DeAndre Cortez Way on July 28, 1990, in Chicago, Illinois. His parents are Lisa and Tracy Way. His younger brother ‘Deion Jenkins’ was killed in a car accident in March 2011. Soulja Boy moved to Batesville, Mississippi as a teenager. He attended South Panola High School.

Soulja Boy began his music career at age 14. He created the record label Stacks on Deck Entertainment in 2004. He was signed to Interscope Records and Collipark Music the following year. Soulja Boy’s debut studio album ‘Souljaboytellem.com’ was released in October 2007. It peaked at #4 on the Billboard 200 and was later certified platinum by the RIAA.
